Handcrafted Cocktails
I like to visit the vineyards where our wine comes from and feature liquor produced by people we know. To me, it's really important to know where everything on our menu - food and beverage - comes from, who makes it and how its produced.
Since day one we've squeezed the lemons by hand for our lemonade and we've brewed sun tea the right way, in big jars out on the back patio. Since expanding into cocktails we figured we needed to treat them the same as everything else we make. This means starting with the best ingredients, the best liquors and the best garnishes (and a lot of taste testing!).
This summer, our top seller has been the Pearl Street Spritzer. Here's how you can make it at home.
Pearl Street Spritzer
Fill a glass pitcher with ice, add 1/2 cup of vodka, 1 cup of Lillet Blanc liqueur, 1/4 cup orange juice and top it off with 1 1/2 cups sparkling wine. Garnish with fresh mint and a grapefruit wedge and serve it up for your friends. This recipe is great for brunch or a summer happy hour on your patio.
We are constantly playing with new cocktails and new techniques, so come check out what we've got.
Merci beaucoup!
